Two groups of 8th grade students recently finished as
First Runner Ups for Nationals (in Washington DC) at the recent National
History Day Event in Madison.
Nathan
Jonet and Jack Anderson's live performance on "A New Age of
Education" and Mady Draak, Ava Krohn and Anna Mittag's website on the
Little Rock 9 each earned top Runner Up marks.
Mady, Ava, and Anna also won a $250 cash award for best Civil Rights
Research in the State.
