New Year = New Email addresses for Howard-Suamico School District Staff

Starting December 26, 2018 all HSSD email addresses will end a new extension: @hssdschools.org and our website address will also become www.hssdschools.org. During the transition, former email addresses (ending in @hssd.k12.wi.us) will work for a limited time to receive email. We will be testing the new addresses in early January to double check that emails aren’t caught up in recipients’ spam filters. Stay tuned for updates after the holidays.

Safety in Our Circle Drive

Please be reminded that students should not be dropped off or picked up in the Circle Drive in front of school unless they have an injury or disability.  The circle is too small to accommodate more than a few cars, and it is dangerous to have cars drive through the parking lots as students are arriving or dismissing.

All drop off and pick up of students should either be on Cardinal Lane or Woodale Avenue.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Proud To Be Pirates!

Bay View Middle School is happy to announce that we will have a new mascot beginning in the 2018-19 school year.  We are excited that we will take on the Pirate mascot of our high school as is the case in many communities.  We have received feedback that having multiple mascots is both confusing and causes families to purchase apparel with different logos every two years.  In addition, many of our youth athletic teams and traveling teams use the pirate as their mascot.
We will be designing apparel with our new Pirate mascot to be ready for the 6th grade meetings in spring, the Bay View Way Class and Open House next fall.
